Well, my training took a snooze today. Last night I was finishing up 9 on the Towpath Trail. My legs were heavy, my feets were sore and my tank was empty. I realized that due to some scheduling issues, I had run 4 out 5 days totaling 34 miles. While that might be an easy stretch for other runners, my body needs some breaks. It’s interesting, once you realize that there is nothing wrong with your legs only the fact you didn’t plan well, you are hit with such a sense of relief.
